Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Packman Mobile Storage, we value transparency and strive to ensure that our customers are well-informed about our cancellation and refund procedures. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are provided for storage unit rentals and related services.

1. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation Before Delivery:
    You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours (business days) before the scheduled delivery of the storage unit for a full refund of the delivery and pickup fees. Any rent paid will not be refunded, as it is used to guarantee your booking.
  • Late Cancellations (Within 48 Hours of Delivery):
    Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery are non-refundable. All fees, including rent, delivery, and pickup fees, are non-refundable at this stage.
  • Cancellation After Delivery:
    Once the storage unit has been delivered, no refunds will be issued, including for rent, delivery, or pickup fees, even if the unit is not used.

2. Scheduling Pickup of Units

  • Unit Pickup at Customer’s Request:
    You may schedule the pickup of the storage unit when you no longer need it. Please provide at least 7 days’ notice to arrange the pickup. If less than 7 days’ notice is provided, Packman Mobile Storage will attempt to accommodate the request based on availability, and additional handling fees may apply. The pickup fee, as outlined in the rental agreement, will apply.
  • Prepaid Rent:
    All prepaid rent for ongoing rental periods is non-refundable. If you vacate the unit before the end of the rental month, the remaining balance for that month will not be refunded or prorated.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only issued in the following circumstances:

  • Cancellation made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery, in which case the delivery and pickup fees will be refunded. Prepaid rent is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Overpayment or billing errors, in which case Packman Mobile Storage will issue a refund for the overcharged amount.

4. Non-Refundable Fees

The following fees are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Rent paid to secure the booking.
  • Delivery and pickup fees if cancellation is made within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery.
  • Handling fees for additional trips, services, or mileage beyond the original agreement.

5. Refund Process

  • If eligible, refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 7 business days of the refund request.
  • Packman Mobile Storage is not responsible for delays in the refund process due to your financial institution.

6. Changes to Service

If you need to make any changes to your booking, such as rescheduling the delivery or pickup, please contact us as soon as possible at packmanmobilestorage@gmail.com or call us at 919-923-7542. Changes to delivery or pickup dates are subject to availability and may incur additional handling fees if they fall outside of the agreed rental terms.
